Will my GTA V / GTA Online progress carry over to GTA VI's Online mode?

At this time, there's no official confirmation on whether progress from GTA Online will carry over to the online mode in GTA VI. That said, players who spent time in the previous version of GTA Online might receive a "welcome back" bonus - potentially scaled based on their rank or accomplishments.
