GTA VI Animals
Grand Theft Auto VI will feature a hugely diverse range of wildlife, many of which can be seen in the first official trailer.
Below is a list of animals we've spotted in official trailers and screenshots or have otherwise been mentioned from official information.
The Game Informer preview released in September 2026 states there are over 170 animal species in the game with 60+ of them being birds and 30+ land mammals. They also confirm the existance of a zoo which will likely give us all sorts of exotic creatures to interact with to some extent. Leaks confirm the existence of an aquarium as well.
Players will be able to track the various creatures similar to Red Dead Redemption with animals being classed as "Rare, Discoverable, and Legendary" according to Game Informer.
