GTA 6 Album Songs Hit 4.1 Million Spotify Streams in First 24 Hours
The first six songs released from Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album generated a combined 4.1 million streams on Spotify in their first 24 hours, according to newly released figures.
The songs were released on September 17 as the first taste of Rockstar Games and Atlantic Records' upcoming 34-track GTA 6 album, which launches alongside the game on November 19.
GTA 6 Causes Huge Spotify Surge
According to figures published by The Music Universe, the six singles generated 4.1 million global Spotify streams during their first 24 hours.
The official Grand Theft Auto playlist also experienced a nearly 40,000% increase compared with the previous day, while searches specifically for "GTA VI" increased by 3,042% compared with their average level. Searches for the broader term "GTA" increased by 950% globally.
More than 250,000 user-created playlists added at least one of the new songs on release day, while fans created more than 2,000 new GTA VI-related playlists.
The six tracks were also shared more than 137,000 times through Spotify, with Travis Scott's RHYNO becoming the most-shared of the new GTA singles.

Morgan Wallen Leads the Charts
Morgan Wallen's Last Thing You Need was the highest-charting of the six tracks, debuting at #23 on Spotify's US Daily Chart.
The release also resulted in significant increases in Spotify artist page views. Keith Richards saw the largest percentage increase at 1,200%, followed by Morgan Wallen at 168%, Rauw Alejandro at 96% and Travis Scott at 93%. Scott received the highest overall number of artist page views among the group.
The United States generated the most streams of the Grand Theft Auto playlist on release day, followed by Brazil, Mexico, the United Kingdom and Germany.
Rockstar Games officially announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album on September 17. The full album contains 34 original tracks and will launch digitally, on CD and vinyl alongside GTA 6 on November 19.
