Corrections Policy
Learn how GTAVice handles corrections, factual errors, article updates and reader feedback to maintain accurate and transparent GTA 6 coverage.
GTAVice aims to publish accurate and reliable information. When we make a factual error, we aim to correct it as quickly and transparently as reasonably possible.
Reporting an error
If you believe an article contains an error, please contact us through our Contact page and include the URL of the article together with details of the information you believe is incorrect.
We will review correction requests against the available evidence and original sources.
How we handle corrections
The way a correction is handled depends on the nature of the error.
Minor spelling, grammar, formatting or typographical errors may be corrected without an editorial note where they do not change the meaning of the article.
Factual errors will be corrected in the article when verified.
Where an error materially changes the meaning or conclusions of an article, we may also add a correction note explaining what was changed.
Article updates
A correction is different from an update.
Articles may be updated when new information becomes available after publication. Where an article has been substantially updated, the page may display an updated date in addition to its original publication date.
We do not alter publication dates simply to make older stories appear more recent.
Developing stories
News can change quickly, particularly when covering announcements, breaking stories and information surrounding an unreleased game.
An article that was accurate based on the information available when it was published may subsequently require additional context or an update. In these cases, we will aim to update the article rather than describe the original reporting as an error.
Removing content
We generally prefer correcting or updating published articles rather than removing them.
Content may be removed in exceptional circumstances, including legal requirements, copyright issues, serious privacy or safety concerns, or where an article cannot reasonably be corrected.
