The Music of Grand Theft Auto VI: In-Game Radio Stations
Rockstar Games has revealed the first six radio stations featured in Grand Theft Auto VI, offering an early look at the music players will hear while exploring Vice City and the wider state of Leonida.
The announcement also confirms several new features for GTA 6, including the introduction of on-demand podcasts and the ability to listen to music outside vehicles using headphones and earbuds connected to Jason and Lucia's smartphones.
Rockstar describes the game's soundtrack as the biggest and most diverse selection of in-game radio stations in the history of the Grand Theft Auto series, covering everything from pop and classic rock to hip-hop, country, Latin music and heavy metal.

Music and Podcasts Available Outside Vehicles
One of the biggest changes to the traditional GTA radio system is that players will no longer need to be inside a vehicle to listen to music.
For the first time in the series, Jason and Lucia will be able to listen to radio stations and podcasts while travelling on foot, using headphones or earbuds connected to their in-game smartphones.
GTA 6 will also introduce on-demand podcasts, expanding the game's audio entertainment beyond traditional radio broadcasts. Rockstar has not yet revealed specific podcast titles or explained how players will select and manage their listening experience.
First Six GTA 6 Radio Stations Revealed
Rockstar has officially introduced six stations, each featuring its own musical identity and presenters. The company has also released artwork and audio previews for each station through the official GTA VI music website.
Cocoteo FM
Genre: Modern Latin music
Hosts: El Martillo and La Gata
Cocoteo FM is Leonida's home for modern Latin music, featuring a selection of bachata, merengue, dembow and reggaeton.
Hosted by El Martillo and La Gata, the station promises a continuous party atmosphere, described by Rockstar as "el party que nunca se apaga" — the party that never ends.

Back Country Radio
Genre: Country music
Hosts: MW and Delta Dawne
Back Country Radio brings renegade country music to Leonida, particularly the rural regions of the Grassrivers and Port Gellhorn.
Presented by MW and Delta Dawne, the station will also feature appearances from Mud Dog Mike, described as a roving reporter, swamp meteorologist and Delta's not-so-secret lover.
Mud Dog Mike will provide updates from the driver's seat of his airboat in the Grassrivers, suggesting the station will feature plenty of local humour alongside its country music selection.

AfroBank FM

AfroBank FM celebrates African music across multiple generations, combining 20th-century classics and lesser-known tracks with contemporary sounds.
Hosted by Burna and Palmsy, the station will feature genres including amapiano and 3-step, introducing a wide range of African musical influences to Leonida's radio lineup.

The Chamber 106.6
Genre: Heavy metal

The Chamber 106.6 brings heavy metal to Leonida, featuring classic metal from the 1980s and beyond.
DJ Kerry and DJ Tom will present the station, which Rockstar says draws upon Leonida's deep metal roots.
The station adds another distinct musical genre to the game's growing soundtrack, catering to players looking for heavier music while exploring the state.

Flash FM
Genre: Pop music
Hosts: Robyn and Alex
One of the most recognisable radio station names in Grand Theft Auto history is officially returning for GTA 6.
Flash FM, originally featured in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and later in Vice City Stories, makes its return as a pop music station hosted by Robyn and Alex.
Rockstar describes Flash FM as a Vice City institution, delivering pop music guaranteed to get listeners dancing wherever they find themselves in the Goodtime State.
The return of Flash FM provides a direct connection to the original Vice City games, although the new station will feature a different pair of presenters.

Dirty South Classics
Genre: Southern rap and hip-hop
Hosts: Trick and Trina
Dirty South Classics focuses on regional rap and hip-hop classics, celebrating the music and culture of the American South.
Presented by Trick and Trina, the station will showcase southern hip-hop throughout Leonida, from the beaches of Vice City to its surrounding neighbourhoods.
The station's emphasis on regional music reflects Rockstar's wider approach to representing Leonida's cultural identity through its soundtrack.

These six stations represent only the first selection of GTA 6's in-game radio lineup, with Rockstar confirming that additional information will be revealed in the future.
The company also plans to share more details about Grand Theft Auto VI's dynamic score, which will accompany the game's action and story sequences.
Additional singles from Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album are also on the way.
The official album will feature 34 original tracks from a diverse roster of artists and is scheduled for release alongside GTA 6 on November 19, 2026.
Fans can pre-save GTA VI: The Album on streaming services or pre-order physical vinyl and CD editions.
