New York Federal Court Approves Take-Two's Subpoenas To Microsoft and Discord
Yesterday evening, a New York federal court approved Take-Two's subpoenas to Microsoft and Discord as part of its investigation into the recent GTA 6 leaks.
The orders direct the court clerk to issue the subpoenas seeking information that could help identify those involved.
The court said it found “good reason” to issue the subpoenas after considering Take-Two's declaration and supporting documents.
Scott Van Vliet, CTO of XBOX, also said: “We are working closely with Take-Two and Rockstar Games to support efforts to protect creative works and intellectual property.”
While a number of measures have been taken to restrict access to CYBERLEEK's website, there is still no evidence that anyone involved in the leaks has yet been identified.
