Published by Psy

Rockstar Games is hiring a Senior Data Scientist to join its Marketing Analytics team, analysing how players interact with Rockstar's websites, marketing campaigns and games.

The role will help Rockstar identify, track and analyse real-time and historical data across its web environments and across all game titles, with the results used to improve marketing decisions and player experiences.

Responsibilities include:

Analysing website and player behaviour at a marketing campaign level

Combining web analytics with game and business data to understand user behaviour and performance

Measuring the effectiveness of new website features, applications and content

Building reports and dashboards used by Rockstar's marketing teams

Developing and maintaining the tracking infrastructure behind Rockstar's web analytics

Rockstar is looking for someone with extensive experience using Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, SQL and web technologies, while experience with A/B testing, paid media, email, social media, SEO, AEO and e-commerce analytics is also desirable.

Rockstar says projects undertaken by its Analytics team can have a "direct influence on the player experience", with this particular role combining website and marketing data with information from its games to help understand how players respond to Rockstar's campaigns and digital experiences.
