Million Dollar Real-Life GTA Nightshark Has a Fighter-Jet Gaming Seat and Weapon Wheel Buckle
Latvian luxury vehicle manufacturer DARTZ is building a $1 million real-life GTA Nightshark with a private gaming lounge in the back, featuring a former fighter-jet ejection seat and a physical GTA-style weapon wheel.
DARTZ has reached out to iGrandTheftAuto with details and images of its $1 million-plus real-world GTA Nightshark project, revealing that the entire rear cabin is being transformed into a private gaming lounge for a single player.
Rather than fitting the rear cabin with conventional luxury seating, DARTZ says the space has been designed around one former fighter-jet ejection seat positioned in front of a large gaming display.
The idea is for the owner to be able to quite literally "drive the Nightshark from inside the Nightshark", playing GTA from within the real-world vehicle inspired by the Nightshark seen in GTA Online.
A one-player GTA gaming lounge
DARTZ says there will be no rear bench, second passenger seat or second controller. Instead, the rear cabin will function as a dedicated one-person gaming space.
A large low-latency display will fill the player's forward view, while a current-generation games console will be concealed behind the interior trim alongside its wiring and other hardware. DARTZ has not yet revealed whether the vehicle will use a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S.
The vehicle will also feature satellite internet and an integrated high-end sound system, together with a Metaxas & Sins electrostatic headphone system positioned beside the seat.
DARTZ describes several operating modes for the cabin. One keeps the player connected to outside systems, another isolates the gaming space by shutting off non-essential feeds, while a third switches the display over to live cameras positioned around the vehicle.
“The obvious solution for a million-dollar car is two massage seats in the back,” said DARTZ founder Leonard F. Yankelovich. “But this is the Nightshark. It came from a game. So the customer wanted the whole world of the game inside it.”
The only rear seat comes from a fighter jet
At the centre of the cabin will be a former fighter-jet ejection seat adapted for automotive use.
DARTZ stresses that the original ejection functionality will no longer be active, but much of the aircraft hardware will remain visible, including the seat frame, rails, exposed mechanical components and five-point harness.
The choice is intended to represent more than GTA's cars. As DARTZ points out, the series also features military aircraft, helicopters, boats, tanks and weapons, with the fighter-jet seat intended to bring another part of that world into the vehicle.
“And GTA is not just cars. That is why the throne comes from a fighter jet. That is why the buckle became a weapon wheel. And that is why the whole project comes down to one sentence: drive the Nightshark from inside the Nightshark.”
A physical GTA-style weapon wheel
One of the most distinctive details is built directly into the fighter seat's five-point harness.
Instead of a conventional central buckle, DARTZ has created a physical metal weapon-selection wheel inspired by GTA's familiar weapon interface.
The wheel includes engraved positions for weapons including a grenade, pistol, Uzi, rifle, sniper rifle, launcher, shotgun and melee weapon.
The seat itself will carry NIGHTSHARK branding on its harness and a DARTZ skull on the headrest, while the surrounding cabin will include integrated gun ports.
Ivory luxury switches into neon "Nightshark mode"
Despite the military and gaming influences, the interior will initially appear much closer to a traditional luxury vehicle.
DARTZ describes the cabin as predominantly ivory white, with deep-pile carpet, stitched ceiling panels, wood-faced compartments, privacy glass and soft exotic-looking upholstery.
When the cabin's lighting mode is activated, cyan and pink illumination runs through the ceiling, seat, gaming display and exposed fighter-seat hardware, transforming the white interior into what DARTZ describes as a one-player neon gaming chamber.
Shark and alligator styling without real animal skins
The upholstery will also reference the vehicle's name and its planned Miami reveal.
DARTZ says surfaces inspired by shark skin and alligator hide will be used throughout the cabin, but the customer specifically requested that no genuine exotic animal leather be used.
Instead, the company says it is using high-end engineered automotive materials combined with bio-based and plant-derived components, with the intention of recreating the softness, grain and appearance of expensive exotic leather without using the real animal.
“He knew our history and he knew we could go extreme with materials. But he was very clear: no real animal skin. Give me the luxury, the comfort and the drama, but do it without killing the animal.”
The fighter-jet seat itself will therefore combine exposed aircraft hardware with ivory crocodilian-style upholstery without using genuine crocodile leather.
What is the real-life Nightshark?
The project is being built by DARTZ, the Latvian manufacturer founded by Leonard F. Yankelovich and known for extravagant luxury and armoured vehicles.
DARTZ says its vehicle designs helped inspire the Nightshark featured in GTA Online. A customer familiar with the company subsequently commissioned DARTZ to build a physical interpretation of the in-game vehicle, effectively reversing that relationship.
The project has now gone one step further by placing a GTA-inspired gaming environment inside the real-world vehicle itself.
DARTZ has previously supplied vehicles used in films including The Dictator, The November Man and Die Hard, and says its customer history has included people and families associated with Kanye West, Jay-Z and Beyoncé.
Miami reveal planned for GTA 6 launch week
The completed vehicle is expected to cost more than $1 million and is currently planned to be revealed independently in Miami during the week of GTA 6's currently announced November 2026 launch.
Several important details are still being kept secret, including the customer's identity, the final exterior design, the underlying vehicle platform, console manufacturer and protection specification.
DARTZ also makes clear that this is an independent project. The Nightshark is a vehicle featured in GTA Online, but the real-world DARTZ build is not sponsored, endorsed, approved or licensed by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.
