In another seemingly minor update, GTA VI's page on the PlayStation Store now features a large advertisement for GTA+.

Following a slight design tweak to Rockstar Games' home page at the end of October...

A New Look For Rockstar Games' Homepage
Rockstar Games have today launched a minor visual update to their homepage, featuring a large slider with featured content at the top of the page and more highlights as you scroll down.

The official GTA VI page on Sony's PlayStation store now contains a large advertisement to purchase a GTA+ subscription. It only appears to be visible when viewing the GTA VI game page on the store through the console itself however, with nothing visible via the web-based store.

While there was never any real doubt that the new GTA game would continue to use Rockstar's subscription service, this update almost officially confirms that GTA+ will be used with Grand Theft Auto VI.

We've already discussed possible use cases for GTA+ if it was to be fully integrated into the game from the start of development (rather than retrofit into the existing system like it was for GTA V), so Rockstar could be looking to bring in even more revenue with their subscription service that could even include single player benefits for GTA 6.

GTA Plus
What is GTA+ and what sort of benefits can we expect to see for subscribers in Grand Theft Auto VI?

With Take-Two's next earning's report on Thursday this week, it seems like we may actually be getting closer to some form of official update from Rockstar Games with regards to GTA VI and whether the targeted release date of May 26, 2026 is still on course.

Amongst recent controversy for the firing of up to 40 members of staff who were attempting to unionize for better working conditions - which Take-Two claim was for "gross misconduct" - there are other rumors that some of the game's developers are unsure if the game will be ready in time for May's scheduled release, despite that still being the target.

It wouldn't be the first time Rockstar Games have delayed a game after previously announcing a "final" release date, with GTA 4 initially scheduled to launch on October 17th, 2007 before being eventually pushed back to April 29th, 2008.

Ultimately the game will be released when it's ready and we as fans will appreciate every last bug they fix and piece of polish they're able to apply.

Stay tuned for the latest GTA VI updates because things certainly seem to be heating up!
