GTA 6 Leaks: Take-Two Files DMCA Subpoenas against Microsoft and Discord

Take-Two is taking legal action to identify those involved in the recent GTA 6 leaks.

The company has filed DMCA subpoenas against Microsoft and Discord, seeking extensive records connected to accounts allegedly involved in posting and distributing the leaked GTAVI material.

Take-Two says the purpose is to "obtain the identity of an alleged infringer or infringers" and that the information will only be used to protect its rights.

Microsoft has been asked for identifying information including emails, IP addresses, phone numbers, linked Xbox/Google accounts, device identifiers and potentially GTA/Rockstar/CYBERLEEK-related OneDrive content.

Discord has also been ordered to provide records relating to accounts communicating in several servers connected to the investigation.

Both companies have been given until September 4th to produce the requested records.

Rockstar has yet to publicly comment on the leaks, but behind the scenes, Take-Two is clearly taking significant steps to identify where they came from.
