Arthur Morgan Actor Roger Clark Responds to GTA 6 Jason Comparisons

Red Dead Redemption 2 star Roger Clark has shared his thoughts on comparisons between Arthur Morgan and GTA 6 protagonist Jason, while also responding to the possibility of appearing in Rockstar's upcoming game.

The comments come from a new report by Collider, whose Maggie Lovitt spoke to Clark during a Red Dead Redemption panel at the FanX Salt Lake Comic & Pop Culture Convention.

Clark, who portrayed Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2, appeared on the panel alongside John Marston actor Rob Wiethoff.

Collider asked Clark about comparisons fans have made between Arthur Morgan and Jason following the release of GTA 6's trailers.

Clark acknowledged that comparisons between characters from Rockstar's two games are inevitable.

"Obviously there are going to be comparisons because it's Rockstar's next game."

According to Collider, Clark said he could understand some of the comparisons surrounding the characters' appearances, including suggestions that Jason and Arthur share some facial similarities.

However, he believes there is currently too little information about Jason to determine whether the similarities go any deeper than that.

"It's hard to say until we actually get a go at it."

Clark also described the comparisons as flattering and spoke positively about what Rockstar has shown from GTA 6 so far.

"We have very limited information, but the trailers look amazing."

He added that he expects Rockstar to:

"knock it out of the park again."

Clark is therefore waiting to play GTA 6 himself before drawing any conclusions about Jason or potential similarities with Arthur Morgan.

Is Roger Clark in GTA 6?

Collider also asked Clark the inevitable question of whether he has a role in GTA 6.

Clark said he isn't involved in the game:

"to my knowledge"

However, he immediately joked that he would give exactly the same answer even if he was involved.

His response shouldn't be taken as evidence that Clark secretly appears in GTA 6, but it means fans aren't going to get a definitive answer from him ahead of release.

Rockstar has so far kept most of GTA 6's cast under wraps, with the actors portraying Jason and Lucia still not officially announced.
