Announcement Regarding GTA 6 Leaks

An update from us regarding GTA 6 leaked footage and its discussion.

While this was initially posted to X, I just wanted to clarify my position on the ongoing GTA 6 leaks:

Going forward, I will not be sharing or describing details from newly leaked footage. While I may acknowledge that a leak has occurred in the interest of news coverage, I will not reveal its contents. This applies above all to story details and spoilers, which I will strictly avoid unless officially revealed by Rockstar Games or through other official previews. I may also mute or unfollow any accounts that continue to share leaked material to avoid seeing it myself.

Having covered the GTA series for nearly 25 years, being exposed to spoilers ahead of launch has often been an unavoidable part of the job. Fortunately, it has never stopped me from enjoying each and every GTA game, and I fully expect GTAVI to be no different.

With around 12 weeks to go, my goal is to ensure our audience can experience the hype and community excitement without worrying about unwanted spoilers. 

Between Rockstar’s upcoming Netflix showcase on Thursday and the expected media previews to follow, there will be plenty of legitimate news to cover.

The actions of one individual attempting to profit from stolen material shouldn't compromise the enjoyment of millions of fans as we count down to arguably the most anticipated game of all time. We’re in the final stretch - let’s all enjoy it together.
