A New GTA 6 Leak Surfaces, Allegedly Including XBOX Graphics Data

Another GTA 6 leak has surfaced over the past 24 hours, although this one could perhaps be considered relatively minor compared to the CYBERLEEK videos and full map images earlier in the week.

I was first made aware of it last night, but more details are beginning to emerge today.

It appears that a debug file from an XBOX build of GTA 6 was acquired by a third party. Contained within the file was a snapshot of the GPU state at the time it was captured.

Data has reportedly been extracted from that snapshot, revealing additional information about the game's map - presumably from the radar. 3D geometry data highlights different height levels for water, puddles and dust, as well as the terrain heightmap itself.

When overlaid onto the previously leaked GTA 6 map - which this data also appears to further validate - it provides a much more detailed look at how the terrain varies across Leonida. Most notably, a substantial elevation difference can be seen around the Mount Kalaga region, providing further evidence of significantly more mountainous terrain in that area.

Whether this is the extent of the information that can be extracted from the file, or if other leaked files exist remains to be seen, but either way, it seems to be another bad day for Rockstar Games.
