Not sure why Rockstar would put a song in a game based in Miami about going to Dubai. Can't see that happening tbh. They don't often mention other real world locations.
I wonder if this song will fit the atmosphere of the game? (I thought that melody and vibe of this song suited GTA6, even though she was singing about Dubai, not Miami) But I guess Rockstar Games could have asked her to replace Dubai to Miami/Vice City. Like she was in Miami instead of Dubai. (And would they have asked her to sing part of the song in English? Or translate it completely into English) As far as I remember, when Rockstar Games was developing GTA4, they edited a few songs to add some references to Liberty City and other locations from GTA IV.
Have to admit I was bitterly disappointed with the soundtrack on GTA V. Still some good tracks, don't get me wrong, but I often just stuck to the same 3/4 radio stations as a result.
I'm more of a rock/indie guy but also like a bit of old-skool dance so would like to see those genres better represented in VI.
An 80's station wouldn't go amiss in a nod to GTA Vice City - I developed a keen interest in 80's music as a result of that game! Plus I've just watched the original Vice City trailers on Youtube as I fancied a nostalgia hit.
Totally agree. Given the first trailer for GTA VI was classic rock from Tom Petty, I imagine we're going to have at least one rock station. Maybe they'll have V-Rock 80's with something more modern too.
